DOE Revises Energy Conservation Standards for Central Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps
The Department of Energy is updating its regulations to reflect new energy conservation standards for residential central air conditioners and heat pumps, replacing standards set in 2002 with new ones set in 2001, following a court ruling that invalidated the 2002 standards.
