US Department of State Certifies Countries for Sea Turtle Conservation
The US Department of State certified 16 nations and 24 countries for their efforts to reduce sea turtle bycatch in their shrimp fisheries, while prohibiting imports from non-certified nations, effective May 1, 2007.
