U.S. Energy Commission Publishes Final Rule on Energy Efficiency Labeling for Home Appliances

The U.S. Energy Commission has completed a rulemaking process to evaluate the effectiveness of current energy efficiency labeling requirements for consumer products, as mandated by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and is now publishing final amendments to the Appliance Labeling Rule, which will be enforced under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
