National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, 2004
The U.S. government has designated October as National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, a nationwide observance aimed at raising awareness about addiction recovery and supporting those in recovery. This annual observance was first established in 2004.
