Defense Science Board Task Force on High Performance Microchip Supply to Meet on September 21-22, 2004

The Defense Science Board Task Force on High Performance Microchip Supply will meet in closed session on September 21-22, 2004, to assess the implications of the shift in manufacturing capability and design of high-performance microchips for the Department of Defense. The task force will evaluate the DoD's ability to obtain radiation-hardened microchips and produce special-purpose microchips in a timely and secure manner.
