California Prune Marketing Committee Increases Assessment Rate for Dried Prunes

The Prune Marketing Committee has raised the assessment rate for dried prunes grown in California from $2.00 to $4.00 per ton, effective for the 2004-05 crop year and beyond, to cover program expenses due to a projected small crop.
