USDA Amends Nutrition Labeling Regulations for Multi-Serve Meat and Poultry Products

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is updating its nutrition labeling rules to align with the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) definition of 'main dish' and allow for nutrient content claims on multiple-serve food containers, in response to a petition from ConAgra, Inc.
