FDIC Issues Final Rule on Deposit Insurance Requirements After Certain Conversions

The FDIC is confirming a final rule amending its regulations to align with the Financial Services Regulatory Relief Act of 2006, the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Act of 2005, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Conforming Amendments Act of 2005, following the receipt of no public comments on an interim rule issued in 2008.
