RUS Proposes Update to Telecommunications Cable Splicing Connectors Specification

The Rural Utilities Service (RUS), a U.S. Department of Agriculture agency, is proposing to update its Telecommunications Standards and Specifications for Materials, Equipment, and Construction regulations by revising RUS Bulletin 345-54, 'RUS Specification for Telephone Cable Splicing Connectors, PE-52'. The revised specification includes new requirements for mechanical fiber-optic splicing connectors.
