US Government Increases Rates Payable Under Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program

The US government has amended the regulations for the Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) program to reflect statutory increases, resulting in a 1.5% increase for fiscal year 2003 and a 2.2% increase for fiscal year 2004, with further increases effective July 1, 2004, as per the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003.
