U.S. Treasury Extends Comment Period for State and Local Government Series Securities Revisions

The U.S. Department of the Treasury is extending the comment period for proposed rule changes to the State and Local Government Series (SLGS) securities, which are non-marketable Treasury securities, until November 16, 2004, in response to industry requests for more time to provide comments.
