HUD Updates Matching Program for Assisted Housing to Improve Housing Assistance Detection

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is updating its matching program to compare income data from HUD's assisted housing programs with independent sources of income information to detect excessive or insufficient housing assistance, as mandated by the Computer Matching and Privacy Protection Act of 1988 and the Office of Management and Budget's guidance.
