NGA to Remove Aeronautical Information From Public Sale and Distribution

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) plans to stop selling and sharing certain aeronautical data, including Flight Information Publications and Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File, due to concerns about national security and intellectual property. The data will no longer be available for public purchase on the NGA website, but will be accessible through the Department of Defense's distribution system.
