DoD Finalizes Rule on Technical Data Conformity for Defense Contracts

The US Department of Defense has adopted a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, eliminating the need for contractors to provide written assurances that technical data delivered to the government meets contract requirements, as mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004.
