HUD Announces Matching Program for Assisted Housing Programs

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is providing notice of a matching program that compares information from HUD rental housing assistance programs with data from the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) to verify employment and income, and to analyze reporting of individuals participating in these programs. This program is authorized under various federal statutes and is necessary to accurately determine rent and assistance amounts.
