NRCS Announces Plans to Update National Handbook of Conservation Practices

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing changes to its National Handbook of Conservation Practices, which will include new or revised standards for conservation practices such as closure of waste impoundments and irrigation water management, and will be adopted by state conservationists for use in conservation systems on highly erodible land or wetlands.
