New Mine Equipment Standards Published by OSHA

The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has published new standards for electric motor-driven mine equipment and accessories, as well as high-voltage longwall equipment, to improve safety in underground coal mines. The standards are part of OSHA's efforts to reduce injuries and illnesses in the mining industry.
