Kiwifruit Grown in California; Decreased Assessment Rate

The USDA has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for kiwifruit grown in California, from $0.002 per pound to $0.045 per 22-pound container, effective for the 2004-05 fiscal period and beyond. The Kiwifruit Administrative Committee will continue to administer the marketing order regulating kiwifruit handling.
