Termination of System Institution Status: Proposed Rule by Farm Credit Administration

The proposed rule aims to clarify the process for Farm Credit System (FCS) banks or associations to terminate their charter and become a financial institution under another Federal or State chartering authority. The rule updates existing regulations to improve communications and strengthen the role of directors in the termination process.
