Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Standardized NUHOMS Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations to include the Transnuclear, Inc. Standardized NUHOMS System, which features a new spent fuel storage and transfer system, the NUHOMS -24PTH System, designed to store fuel with high burnup and cooling requirements.
