Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Fee Schedules to Recover 90% of FY 2005 Budget

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is implementing the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 to recover approximately $538 million in fees for fiscal year 2005, following the passage of the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982 and the Nuclear Waste Policy Act Amendments of 1992, and in accordance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's FY 2005 budget, which includes the NRC's annual fees for FY 2005.
