FCC Adopts New Rules for Direct Broadcast Satellite Providers

The Federal Communications Commission has set an effective date for new rules requiring Direct Broadcast Satellite providers to adhere to stricter guidelines for political broadcasting, children's programming, and public interest obligations, following the publication of updated regulations in the Federal Register on April 28, 2004.
