FCC Closes Rulemaking for Pay-Per-Call and Information Services, Denies Related Application and Corrects Rules Error

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has closed CC Docket 96-146, a rulemaking initiated in 1996 to implement the Telecommunications Act of 1996, governing pay-per-call and related information services. The FCC also denied a related application for review and corrected a word error in the existing rules.
