Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service; Changes to the Board of Directors for the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc.; and Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Mechanism

The Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service has corrected an error in a Federal Register document regarding the Commission's handling of petitions for reconsideration filed by Sprint Corporation, the United States Telecom Association, and MCI Worldcom. The Commission has agreed to seek recovery from schools and libraries in certain instances, and has granted petitions in part, with the goal of recovering funds disbursed in violation of the statute or rule.
