Commission Permits Use of 156.575 MHz Channel for Port Operations Communications in Puget Sound

The US Coast Guard requested permission to use VHF marine Channel 71 (156.575 MHz) for intership port operations communications in Puget Sound, and the Commission has granted this authorization to enhance vessel traffic management, increase navigational safety, and protect the marine environment.
