FDA Proposes Amendment to Over-the-Counter Drug Monograph for Relief of Food and Drink-Related Symptoms

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to expand the use of over-the-counter orally administered drug products for relief of symptoms associated with overindulgence in food and drink, specifically for products containing bismuth subsalicylate, to include relief of upset stomach symptoms.
