FDA Finalizes Registration Rule for Food Facilities Under the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final regulation confirming the registration requirement for domestic and foreign food facilities in the US, which must be registered with the FDA by December 12, 2003, as mandated by the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002.
