EPA Grants Exemption to Magna Bon Corporation for Sulfuric Acid Residues

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted Magna Bon Corporation an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of sulfuric acid, a chemical used as an inert ingredient, allowing it to be used without a maximum permissible level. This exemption was granted in response to a petition submitted by Magna Bon Corporation under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
