EPA Approves Alabama's Plan to Implement New Air Pollution Standards for Pulp Mills

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) the authority to implement and enforce new air pollution standards for chemical recovery combustion sources at pulp mills, as part of the Clean Air Act (CAA).
