EPA Proposes New Emission Guidelines for Large Municipal Waste Combustors

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to update the emission guidelines for large municipal waste combustors, adding a new limit on carbon monoxide emissions for a specific type of technology. The proposed rule would apply to two existing large waste combustors that were previously classified as small units, and would also update the federal plan for large waste combustors.
