EPA Reviews Two Proposed Projects, Offers Suggestions for Improvement
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reviewed two proposed projects, the Southern Golden Estates Ecosystem Restoration Project in Florida and the Howard Bend Floodplain Area Study in Missouri, and has suggested improvements to their environmental impact statements. The EPA has no objections to the projects, but has requested clarification on certain aspects to ensure better water quality and has proposed the formation of an interagency team to oversee operational procedures.
