EPA Amends National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Asbestos

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized amendments to the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) for asbestos, correcting minor typographical errors in the original rule, which were issued on September 18, 2003. The corrections do not alter the requirements of the final rule and are deemed good cause for not requiring prior proposal and public comment.
