EPA to Delete South 8th Street Landfill Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 is issuing a notice of intent to delete the South 8th Street Landfill Superfund Site in West Memphis, Arkansas, from the National Priorities List (NPL), and is requesting public comments on this notice of intent. The EPA and the State of Arkansas have determined that all appropriate response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980 have been completed, but future actions under Superfund are still possible.
