Louisiana Submits Revised NPDES Program for EPA Approval
The State of Louisiana has submitted a request for approval of revisions to its Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (LPDES) program, which was originally approved in 1996, in response to a request by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and as required by regulations. The EPA is providing a 30-day public comment period on the proposed revisions, during which citizens can participate in the decision-making process.
