EPA Approves Revisions to Arizona State Implementation Plan
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing its approval of revisions to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's (ADEQ) portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP), which aims to reduce particulate matter (PM-10) emissions from industrial processes. The revisions, proposed in 2004, align with the Clean Air Act of 1990 and will regulate emission sources under the Act.
