EPA Issues White Paper on Globally Harmonized System for Pesticides

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public comment on a white paper outlining its plan to implement the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for pesticide products registered under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The GHS aims to increase international consistency in hazard classification and labeling, ultimately reducing hazardous exposures and adverse effects from pesticide use.
