EPA Cancels Creosote Wood Preservative Products, Terminates Certain Uses
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued final cancellation orders for five creosote wood preservative products, effective December 31, 2004, in response to voluntary requests from product registrants to terminate their use and cancel the products.
