EPA Reclassifies Certain Ozone Nonattainment Areas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reclassified several areas in the United States that are designated nonattainment for the 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS), following a request from the respective states for reclassification from moderate to marginal.
