EPA Extends Deadline for Methyl Bromide Information Request Amidst Ozone Layer Protection Efforts

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a letter clarifying its request for information on existing and available stocks of methyl bromide, a chemical used in ozone-depleting applications, and has extended the deadline for submission of this data to October 14, 2004, in response to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
