EPA Withdraws Motor Vehicle Emission Budgets for Washington D.C. Area
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has withdrawn its adequacy finding on motor vehicle emission budgets for the Washington D.C. area, effective August 26, 2004, due to the jurisdictions' withdrawal of their state implementation plan submissions. This decision does not affect EPA's more recent adequacy finding from December 9, 2003, which deemed the 2005 emission budgets adequate for conformity purposes.
