EPA Grants General Motors Petition to Delist Non-Hazardous Waste from Hazardous Waste List

The EPA has granted General Motors' petition to exclude up to 2,000 cubic yards of non-hazardous wastewater treatment sludge from the list of hazardous wastes under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), provided it is disposed of in a permitted Subtitle D landfill.
