EPA Approves West Virginia's Air Quality Plan for Weirton Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the City of Weirton's PM 10 nonattainment area has met the National Ambient Air Quality Standard, and is approving West Virginia's request to redesignate the area for attainment. The EPA is also approving the state's 10-year maintenance plan to maintain air quality in the Weirton area.
