EPA Modifies Captan Reregistration Eligibility Decision and Announces Cancer Reclassification

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has amended certain provisions of the 1999 Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED) for the pesticide captan and opened a public comment period on these changes, following a reevaluation of captan's cancer classification, which has been reclassified as non-genotoxic.
