EPA Proposes Options for PM2.5 and PM10 Hot-Spot Analyses in Transportation Conformity Rule Amendments

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public comment on proposed options for analyzing localized emissions impacts of individual transportation projects on particulate matter (PM 2.5 and PM 10) nonattainment and maintenance areas, as part of the transportation conformity rule amendments for the new PM2.5 and existing PM10 national ambient air quality standards.
