EPA Approves Virginia's Plan to Reduce VOC Emissions from Municipal Solid Waste Landfills

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve Virginia's State Implementation Plan revision to control volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from landfills in Northern Virginia, a region in the Washington, D.C. area, in response to a proposed rule published in the Federal Register.
