DEA Extends Temporary Scheduling of Alpha-Methyltryptamine (AMT) and 5-Methoxy-N,N-Diisopropyltryptamine (5-MeO-DIPT) Under Controlled Substances Act

The Acting Deputy Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a final rule to extend the temporary placement of alpha-methyltryptamine (AMT) and 5-methoxy-N,N-diisopropyltryptamine (5-MeO-DIPT) in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) until October 3, 2004 or completion of rulemaking proceedings, whichever comes first.
