Tongass National Forest Sites to Receive Settlement Under CERCLA for Response Costs and Actions

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lodged a consent decree under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) to settle response costs and performance of response actions at Tongass National Forest sites.
