DEA Proposes Enhanced Security Measures for Pseudoephedrine, Ephedrine, and Phenylpropanolamine Manufacturers

The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing new security requirements for companies that manufacture, distribute, import, or export pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine, chemicals used in the illicit production of methamphetamine and amphetamine, in response to recent thefts and diversion incidents.
