Medicare Program; Continuation of Medicare Entitlement When Disability Benefit Entitlement Ends Because of Substantial Gainful Activity

The final rule updates Medicare eligibility regulations to reflect a change made by the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999, allowing working disabled individuals to maintain Medicare coverage for up to 78 months after the end of their disability benefit entitlement, rather than the previous 24 months.
