CDC Pushes Back Final HIV Content Guidelines Publication Date Due to Public Comments
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a revised publication date for its Final HIV Content Guidelines for various materials and educational sessions. The guidelines were initially published in 1992 and were subject to a public comment period that closed on June 16, 2004, with nearly 5,000 comments received. The CDC is now working to consider each comment and has pushed back the publication date due to the increased time required to review the feedback.
